w3fools.com/Just sayin'. I prefer HTML Dog, CSS-Tricks, Tree House, and Codecademy. That website annoys me every time I look at it. W3Schools is a good resource, but there's a few incorrect things. Nothing is perfect. Also, as stated by iPokemon, the TryIt Editor can be useful.

They're trying to give themselves more credibility than they deserve, considering a lot of their tutorials are either outdated or give incorrect information. Like Bobby said, W3Schools is an okay resource for introducing new coders to the languages, but when it comes to expanding one's career, it's a bad choice. For comparison's sake, let's say this is W3Schools, while this is something like TreeHouse, CodeCademy or the Mozilla Developer Network. I am a little biased, though.
