my favorite was harvest moon: back to nature. it was on the playstation 1. harvest moon 64 was pretty good too. i remember my biggest complaint with the 64 version was that you couldn't cook like you could in the ps1 game.
i also played harvest moon on snes, gameboy color, gamecube (a wonderful life) and ps2 (saving the homeland).

The old Black Isle RPGs: Planescape: Torment Icewind Dale Wastelander and Fallout 1-2 (I hated Fallout 3).
Elder scrolls series from Arena to Morrowind. I disliked Oblivion and Skyrim.
Master of Orion series.
Geneforge series.

Harvest Moon is where it's at. I'm still playing through Magical Melody for the GCN because I want it to finish, lol.
