Please explain how you compared them, considering they do completely different and incomparable things..? Please explain why you expect someone who compares CSS to HTML to answer your question effectively..? Surely someone who has used both enough to form an opinion as to which is easier to use has at least SOME cogent explanation for how they compared them. I think the answer would be interesting, since its not usually something people who actually know what HTML/CSS are would ever think about.

Mine would have to be CSS as I can use it to help change the colors and help create a theme. I also enjoy CSS more then Java or HTML for some reason.

I prefer HTML, it's more straightforward for me. I'm pretty much a newb when it comes to CSS, because I can't really get the hang of it.
