Hey, guys.
I've been around Proboards for the last..... Since 2005. Posting on message boards is a real hobby of mine, but it's hard to find decent little communities!
I was so impressed with this forum's appearance that I had to join. I have made quite a few skins. I'd love to learn some new tricks. Maybe you guys can teach me something. I don't know!
ANYWAY.
I'll get posting!

It's simple looking, yet very complex?
Welcome.

Hey Destroyer, it's awesome that you're here, welcome to IncrediBAD. I'm sure we could teach you a few things. Allan is a great designer with years and years of experience. I have only been designing for a couple years now, but I was taught by one of the best ProBoards skinners of all-time. Anyways, I hope to see you around the forum.

If I understand what you are asking, you do the same thing as you would with the .catbg and .titlebg class in terms of CSS, but you use .windowbg and .windowbg2 instead.
So, it would be this:
<style type="text/css"> <!-- .catbg { background-image: url(IMAGE URL HERE); } .titlebg { background-image: url(IMAGE URL HERE); } .newstitlebg { background-image: url(IMAGE URL HERE); } .windowbg { background-image: url(IMAGE URL HERE); } .windowbg2 { background-image: url(IMAGE URL HERE); } --> </style>

Oh, wow. Thanks so much. That's awesome.
They do repeat though. So.... What's a good size to make them or what do I do to make them NOT repeat?

Around 800, but it's not width that the problem is.

If you have your forum width in pixels, take a screenshot of your forum, and then crop it so it just has the windowbg. You can figure out the size in pixels of it that way. If you have the forum width a percentage, then I don't think you can not have it repeat though. You can, but it won't look right for a lot of people.

It's fine width wise. It's in posts where it repeats.
