Her voice isn't right. It's not the type of calm that a person would be in this situation, out of shock. It's calm like... it's not a big deal.

Did she actually end up even doing the chest compressions and giving mouth to mouth? It sounds like she's just sitting there.

So you see my dilemma... This is the first I've heard of this recording, but I heard stories about it. Listening to it made me vomit literally. The doctors said there were no broken bones or bruising on her chest to indicate anyone tried cpr prior to the paramedics.

So you see my dilemma... This is the first I've heard of this recording, but I heard stories about it. Listening to it made me vomit literally. The doctors said there were no broken bones or bruising on her chest to indicate anyone tried cpr prior to the paramedics. Indeed. When performing CPR, particularly on a child whose bones aren't quite hard yet, the breast plate and some ribs often break during chest compression. If there were no broken bones or bruises in that area, CPR was either not preformed or done incorrectly. Most people don't realize that you actually need to be quite forceful, so it's possible that Stepp made an attempt, but was too gentle for fear of hurting Ginny. Is she trained in CPR? If she is, she would have left bruises from breaking cartilage at the very least, and that would just make this whole situation even more suspicious. However, if she's not, then it could be plausible that she tried, but wasn't forceful enough. Either way, judging by the sound of the call, it doesn't sound like she even attempted CPR. The dispatcher carried her through only 8 compressions before she said it wasn't working. I feel like she also would have had to put the phone down, though she could have held it to her ear with her shoulder.

She wouldn't have been able to do CPR on a toddler/2 year old while holding the phone. What gave it away was the tone of her voice, not knowing how many compressions she was on which they were counting them for her and her not counting them with 911 operator. I could have gone the rest of my life, given I'm the baby's mom, with out hearing that call. It made me vomit literally. I trusted that girl, my kids trusted that girl, and not only did she kill her, she didn't even try to save her
