Photoshop has been around for a while now, with several versions...which one do you use or do you even use the program at all for designing?
I've had a few trial versions before, but because design isn't my strong point, it just seems like an over-complex program for the minimal things I need to do!

I've been using CS5 since it was released in 2009. CS6 isn't worth the money to upgrade for me, as CS5 suits me just fine. (CS5, however, provided several features I was willing to pay for.) It's my primary design tool, though Illustrator and InDesign occasionally come in handy. If you think PS is complex, have a look at InDesign some time. That's what I call complex. lmao

I originally was using CS up until a few years ago then I upgraded to CS3. I dont see why I need to upgrade anytime soon.

I don't use PhotoShop for designing. I have always used GIMP. I have messed around with PhotoShop in the past, but I never bothered to learn how to use it. I used CS5 then.

I have Photoshop CS6. I use to use CS3, five or so years ago. I don't really mind the "difference". It's been so long for me tho, I have to start with learning some things over again. Finding sources for everything again is the worst..
