There hasn't been any Harry Potter chat threads on here! What's up with dat? Well, I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, so I am starting this.

I like Harry Potter. I'm not into Harry Potter roleplay forums or anything, but I have read every book in the series many times and I have seen every movie a few times. I prefer the books over the movies though. The Harry Potter books are really the only books I have ever read for entertainment.

I'm the type that's read all the books and seen the movies multiple times over --I've even roleplayed HP before-- but it was never an interest that really stuck. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorite book series.

I'm particularly fond of Malfoy, too. That part at the end of Deathly Hallows (pt II) where Voldie gives him that awkward hug is the best thing in the world.

I love harry potter, I have seen and own all the movies on DVD. As well as all the books in hardback copies.

I read the first book in the 3rd grade, but from grades 4-8 I went to a Christian private school where Harry Potter was banned (gasp, WITCHCRAFT!). However, throughout highschool I avoided Harry Potter because I'm some weird hipster that refuses to give anything popular a chance. Finally, before the Deathly Hallows movie came out I started to read through them because I was sick of being out of the loop in conversations between my girlfriend and her friends. I finished the series in Jan 2011, and I've been hooked ever since. I was a beta tester for the interactive Potter site "Pottermore," and I own the complete collection of DVDs. I recently watched through them all when my cable was out. I missed out during my childhood, but better late than never, right?

I remember when they were doing that limited Pottermore beta testing sign up thing at certain times of the day for a little while. I never even tried to sign up or anything. I probably should have, but oh well.

I'm Moonstrike90. I'm pretty inactive though because I really only like going through the books and reading the little tidbits.

Yeah, I seem to remember an email saying it was open to the public a few months back. But I'm not really sure.

I'm watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on ABC Family right now. I have seen it hundreds of times and it never gets old. Harry Potter and Star Wars are like the only movie series that I can just keep on watching repetitively without getting bored.
