I think I joined b/c I like minimalistic sites/forums. I used to be an active member on many design forums years ago; that's when I was first getting starting with web design.

Then, I grew up and got a job in the real world lol. Now, I am a web design consultant for a large company. They mostly focus on real estate web design. On the side, I have my little graphic design company which generates a decent income.

Either way, I hope I do become an active contributor on this site.
